Summer McKissick, an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, founded Summer Breeze Menopause & Hormone Care after years of seeing women struggle with unexplained hot flashes, fatigue, low libido, mood changes, and shifting lab work without real answers. Recognizing a major gap in midlife hormonal care, she pursued advanced training in menopause and hormone health to provide the knowledgeable, compassionate, evidence-based support women deserve. Today, she offers personalized, unhurried care designed to help women feel like themselves again, regain confidence, and build a foundation for lasting health and vitality.

Summer Breeze Menopause & Hormone Care operates as a self-pay practice for clinical visits, allowing for extended appointment times and a thorough, individualized evaluation. This model ensures patients receive comprehensive, unrushed, evidence-based menopause and hormone care.

To support continuity of care and help minimize overall costs, laboratory testing and prescription medications are submitted through your insurance whenever possible. A detailed superbill is also available upon request if you would like to pursue potential out-of-network reimbursement.
